KURS KAYA or KAI'S COURSE is a Russian post rock band from Moscow formed by Alex MININ and Nickholas KONIWZSKI in spring of 2010. The musicians worked together as a part of an another ambient post rock project called AESTHESYS before hand, and during 2010 with additional members they formed their own group which released itss only album up to date.

EARTHSIDE is a New England-based creative collective that plays an absorbing style of modern progressive music they call 'cinematic rock'. Across their debut work, ''A Dream In Static'', the seasoned group displays a wild stylistic diversity and creative hunger that jams the mental machinery of comparison. DORA THE DESTROYER is the one-man instrumental project of 27 year old Michael Blackmond, hailing from Detroit, MI. After college and exhausted by the grind of playing in bands, he started recording from his home and posting ideas to soundcloud around 2013. After garnering a small following over the course of the year, he decided to record and produce an EP. DTD's debut EP, ''The Singularity'', was released July 21st, 2015. WEITES LUFTMEER is a psychedelic project from Munich, Germany. 2013 they could produce their debut album 'O.S.T'. Since 2015 the band is consisting of Jochen on guitar and Kim making use of bass, drums, keys and other stuff. A new album is announced to be released in Summer 2016 on the German label Tonzonen Records.

In the past, Anneke VAN GIERSBERGEN, former singer of THE GATHERING and mastermind of the AGUA DE ANNIQUE, featured on two AYREON's albums: Into The Electric Castle and 01011001. THE GENTLE STORM is one of the many side projects of the Dutch multi-instrumentist Arjen Anthony LUCASSEN. Officially they are the only two band members, but in their first release they feature Ed WARBY at drums, who was also in Into The Electric Castle and Johan VAN STRATUM (STREAM OF PASSION) at bass. Their first album is a double CD on which the same tracks are arranged in a Gentle way on the first CD and in a Storm way in the second.

The band VOSTOK PROGRAMME from Atlanta, Georgia is named after a Soviet spaceflight project in the 1960s. Their eponymous debut album was released in October 2015 and features a prolific blend of instrumental space and post rock. This is similar to bands like Grails and Future Kings Of England, even provided with some slight eclectic and dissonant touch here and there.

Komara is the latest project by the 3 esteemed musicians, drummer Pat Mastelotto mostly known as King Crimson's drummer for the past 20 years as well as a part of Tony Levin's Stick Men, Slovakian guitar player and composer David Kollar and Italian Trumpeter Paolo Raineri. The three have combined forces in 2014 to create this unique sounding band. The band is described as cinematic industrial ethno-rock, which I think is a very good description, the music is sometimes heavy quite similar to what King Crimson were doing in their post 90's era, but can also create cool, ethereal, psychedelic, experimental and jazzy soundscapes all meshed together in the most beautiful manner thanks to Raineri's exquisite trumpet work. Kollar's bass and guitar work are also notable but it's the electronics and sound effects which gives the already diverse sounding music another dimension. This debut album released in mid 2015 is clearly one of the most unique albums of the year and sets a high standart to band's subsequent releases, hopefully they will come soon.

In September 1991, Sebastien SIOZADE (Guitars) and Olivier ROY (Keyboards, Vocals) work together and come up with one hour of improvisation. In December 1991, Sebastien meet Benoit TURCOTTE, drummer of the Quebec band SILENCE, who specialized in Pink Floyd covers. Then came along Eric LOPEZ (Bass). In February 1992, Sebastien and Olivier take the one hour recording and started to add some space for more improvisation. Some others songs take their shape : "Les ivresses mortes" with Sebastien singing and "2L2", a long and complex instrumental. Benoit had to comeback to Quebec, his replacement was Laurent FOMPUDIE, fan of Led Zeppelin and Prog Rock music. Later that year the band gives his first concert and many more. They played their music while some painters are performing. While Sebastien goes with some long flights of aerial guitar in the SYD BARRETT style, Olivier fill the space with his powerful and inventive keyboards in the GENESIS style. In February 1993, Eric quit the band, so the band is looking for a new bass player that would be a fan of the band Patrick GODEAU. One more big epic song is done: "Les Clowns exansangues" with his rock energy and Olivier singing. In December, the band recorded his big epic song. The next year the band is slowly dissolving with some turmoil between band members, giving their last concert in 1995. Sebastien left the band with personal issue, but he meet again Eric 5 years later with more positive energy. Patrick Godeau produced in 2010, the self-titled CD, that contains 74 minutes of music. It just a little sad that the 50 minutes of bonus material on this are demos with questionable sound and unfinished songs that had so much quality to be left in that state. SATISFACTION INJECTION is a young jazz rock band from Haarlem. The group that started with four members went through a couple of changes in the line-up and breaks for some time until 2015 when they finished their first album influnced by 70's progressive rock. Soon after they continued their live shows where they got the chance to be a support act for SOFT MACHINE LEGACY amongst others.

HORN was an obscure Canadian jazz rock band from Toronto consisting of Alan DUFFY, Bill BRYANS, Bruce BURRON, Gary HYNES, David deLAUNAY, Les CLACKETT and Wayne JACKSON. The group released only one album in 1972 and stopped all their activities, in the 80's the members became parts of bands like GOVERNMENT and THE PARACHUTE CLUB.

BOSQUE is a jazz rock band from Belgrade led by bass player Milos BOSNIC, joining him in this project are his friends Igor MISKOVIĆ, Dejan NIKOLIĆ, Strahinja STOJANOV and Dusan PETROVIĆ.

White Raven is the project of talented Polish composer Piotr Wojciechowski , born 1983 in Lodz and who began piano lesson at the age of 12 and ultimately winning numerous student competitions. He got quickly interested in guitar but keyboards remained his first and foremost love, buying his first synthesizer, a Yamaha CS6x which in turn, opened up new lines of creativity with theatre and film music. He tried working with other musicians but Piotr realized that he was master of his own ship and electronic music in particular was drawing him closer to working alone with his synths, keyboards and computers. He dis team up with artist and graphic designer Agnieska Rogozinska, with whom he developed a friendship and a working relationship. He won in 2012 a competition for electronic music composers held in Cekcyn, and many festivals, memorial concerts and events followed which solidified White Raven?s style and direction. Most of 2014 and 2015 were thus dedicated to launching ?The First Breath? album, with the help of Richard Kramaskiego and the celebrated Polish prog label Lynx Music. The recording was done in Piotr?s home studio, arranging, composing and playing all the instruments, artwork was done by Agnieszka. Future projects are already in the pipeline.

APPLESMELLCOLOUR is a Progressive and Symphonic Rock band founded in Tarragona, Spain in 2012. The name of the band is inspired by a poem written by the catalan poet Gabriel Ferrater. ANIMA TEMPO is a progressive metal band based out of Mexico City. Founded in 2009 by three former members of a progressive metal cover band called CAUSTICA X, they began writing original material and additional members joined to complete the lineup. After demo releases in 2010 and 2011, the band began working on their first professional full-length while also touring across the ocean in Europe. In January 2016, the album Caged in Memories was released. The style of music combines familiar templates found in progressive metal, except their are also forays into melodic death metal at times, combining clean and harsh vocals alongside some sudden tempo surges and djent-influenced time signatures. Hailing from Athens, Greece, GROOVE THERAPIST was founded in May of 2010. Beginning as a cover band playing gigs at numerous venues in Athens, the band began writing their own material. In august of 2015 the band dropped their first single through The Leader Records entitled ''Drop D'', followed by their first full length album ''Mr. Funker The Myth'' in November of 2015. A 24 track concept release, the band's style of music is based in progressive metal but also includes strong influences from melodic prog rock and funk. Epitaph began 2009 when Mauricio GODINEZ(Guitar) and Raúl CORONA(Drums & vocals) met in high school, fueled by their passion for progressive and heavy music they recruited Gregorio GÔMEZ(Bass) and started rehearsing on a regular basis. At this stage in their career the band was known as a metal and classic rock band, they wrote some songs and even released a demo which failed to reach a significant audience. After a falling out with their first 2 vocalists the band went on a hiatus until 2014 when they decided re-form as Epitaph, this time, however, they added Jorge ROJAS(Keyboards) as a full time member and so the current lineup of the band was set. Epitaph set out to look for a singer but failed and decided that Raul Corona should handle the vocal duties as well. Epitaph wrote their first album Human, Not Humane during 2014 and early 2015, the album reflects the band's progressive influences (YES,KING CRIMSON,PINK FLOYD), while also adding input from other music genres (Thrash Metal, Soundtrack music, Classic Rock). The album was recorded in April of 2015 and released in May/June of the same year. Fusion instrumental quartet based in Querétaro, México. This ensemble rescues elements of jazz, rock, hip hop, post rock, experimental and many other kinds of music. From the beginning until today, the band has had the opportunity to play in local, national and international festivals inside the Mexican Republic, sharing stage with noticeable artists, like Cabezas de Cera, Mark Aanderud, Gustavo Nandayapa, David Bixler, Ricky Rodríguez, Drúk, Aux Matanshi, etc. Their compositions contain polyrhythms, breakbeats, modal harmonies and rhythmic motives, developed progressively throughout every track. The three musicians have been influenced by many styles of music. The results is a special blend of rhythmic complexity and a rough progressive sound of pure instrumental music that is largely improvised and where the songs have polyphonic structures. The concept of the band is born in 2006 in the mind of Gabbi DLUZEWSKI (Guitars, backing vocals) who wanted to create music that is emotional and at the same time adventurous with the presence of contrasts and nuances of soft and heavy. He wanted to explore the depth of his heroes (LED ZEPPELIN, DEEP PURPLE and THE BEATLES) while reaching some new territory. His inspiration of Swedish and Celtic traditional music was another influence to define the band's sound. In 2007, the band entered the competition Music Direkt with some great reviews from the audience. His brother Daniel (Bass, backing vocals) joined the band after the departure of some members. Then the two search for new musicians. That's when Simon FORSBERG (Swedish bosoki, acoustic guitar, banjo and backing vocals) came along by seducing the band with this playing of the bosoki later renamed "ro-string mandolin of Doom". Then Andreas BERGLUND (drums) joined the band in 2011. The band dis another tour of Sweden with rave reviews from the press.
